Psalm 46:10
“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

Being still doesn’t come naturally to me. But when I’m still, I can hear Him. And when I’m still, I can see Him. And when my focus is on Him, I am able to see the richness in every God-given moment He allows my way.

Ornaments

To kick start your Seeking Christmas tradition, your family will create your very own set of ornaments to be used each year.

All children love an exciting game of hide and seek right? Your children will delight in finding an ornament each day that your family uses Seeking Christmas. As children age they may lose interest in hiding and finding ornaments. However, they will never outgrow Seeking Christmas. These ornaments will serve as a nostalgic reminder of treasured childhood Christmas memories as your family continues to hang them on the tree during the family devotion time each year. You may not have a 4 year old tearing the house apart looking for the Day 3 ornament, but you just may have a 15 year old placing the Day 3 ornament on the tree, reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas, and grateful for the rich memories with his family through Seeking Christmas.

There are so many creative ways to create these ornaments. I’ve provided instructions for 2 simple ways. I invite you to show us your creativity when you share the ornaments your family created on our Facebook page.
